Hello World!
I am baaAAAaack!
We went on a run from the track, to somewhere in the middle of somewhere south of Shuggahhood ... err sugarhouse
It was fun, the miles just melted down, I hardly noticed them until the last mile and a half-ish. |

I had a report to write, so I couldn't update this yesterday,
My run was fun, we started at Natalie's house with a Caprisun, which we later traded for a granola bar, a fun sized Krakel bar, and some fruit snacks at Scott's House. Which we traded for some refried beans at the Rassmussen's, which we finally traded for a quart and a half of Ice Cream, at the prices. After getting the ice cream we checked the Jolley's for a possible trade, but they werent there. We went back to Natalie's and ate the ice cream after that.
If you don't believe me, check Susannah's blog, she did it too |

RJ and I ran up to the JCC and then we ran along foothill to Legacy, and then back to the Track, I assume it was 6 miles is, but it might have been less...
It was a nice run, earlier, during track season, this run wore me out...
Now that I actually have some base, it is easy again. |

RJ and I ran to the Shriners Drinking fountain. It was a nice run, but I felt sick, and didn't run well. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 6.00 |
|
| |
I ran from RJ's House to Sugarhouse, and ran a lap around....
It felt nice, but it is starting to get hot out, which is CRAP!
I hate heat |

First organized day of Cross Country Practice ...
I was extremely excited, We ran to the closer cemetery to the school and ran two laps. And it felt nice. |

Happy National Running Day, and Sterlings Birth Day oddly enough
We did the epic run, which was ... well epic.
And I felt good too. |

Cross Country Practice Day 2
2 laps around the gully, we found Greg after 1/2 lap.
I felt slow, but it was okay, and I still finished with RJ. I am afraid that my fitness is going to take forever to get back from Tony's workouts. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 4.00 |

It's all coming together slowly. Sterling, RJ and I ran to Legacy and back to the track. It was a good run, but it was hot!
I already complained about heat last week. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 4.00 |

RJ and I ran to some drinking fountain we ran to once during cross country last summer...
It was on foot hill, but it wasn't exactly four miles like we thought, heh.
Extremely hot again, darn summer |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 6.00 |
|
| | Well, today was practice Down to Liberty 2 laps fireman, and another lap backwards... Then returning to east. Some people stopped at Great Harvest, but Scotty G and I weren't hungry. As well, the entire day today i have had "danke schoen" by Wayne Newton stuck in my head, and have been singing it through out year book day. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 6.00 |
| |
| | RJ and I ran to the JCC from his house. It was a great run, I felt excellent. But it was sooooo freaking hot! |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 6.00 |
|
| |
RJ and I went for a long run. RJ was a little slow after mile 5. I stayed with him mostly, he fell behind a bit, but I tried to slow down with him. It was from RJ's to Sugarhouse, a half lap, then the cemetery loop, 2 laps in the cemetery, and reverse when we got back to Sugarhouse.
It was a little cooler. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 12.00 |
|
| | RJ and I ran to Shriners Drinking fountain. It was a nice run, I felt like I was going way fast and the run felt a little short. |

We ran in Sugarhouse Park!
It was the first full summer morning workout. State Course, then a lap around the park, thenwe ran an extra .75 in the fieldish thing just to get an even 6
It was cold and wet for summer |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 6.00 |
|
| | We went to Sunnyside, ran a VA Loop for warm up, ran 8 1 minute on 1 minute offs, played some Ultimate Frisbee, and ran another mile to make it a 6 mile run. I felt great honestly, this season is looking good, i just need my fitness and base miles! |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 6.00 |

Crappiest run ever.
Thats all I can and want to say. The hills were killer, and I hated all the up hill. Down Hill was a good recovery and Susannah and I found some water eventually.
If you ever ran the Mt Sac Footlocker Course, imagine the hills for that, extended to 7 miles... That was the run. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 7.00 |
|
| | So a nice easy run by my house. It was a good 5, but I prefer not running by my house honestly, I hate that trail... |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 5.00 |
|
| |
We ran 2 800's in liberty, 3 of the miles of which were in my flats.
It was nice, I felt good, but as I said this morning my quads are sore...
Still are really. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 3.00 |
|
| |
RJ and I ran to sugarhouse, a lap, and then back to his house. It was a nice easy 5, and afterwards we had a pool party!
It was supa fun! |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 5.00 |
|
| |
Cemetery Loop, sans cemetery ...
It was a nice run, I had to win it so I couldn't let RJ or Sterling pass me. After I finished I felt terrible and decided I am done running for the rest of my life Great. Atleast now I remember what its like to push hard, and I know how hard I can push now |

Coin run competition.
Rj and I were on a team, and we went the farthest distance wise! But our coin flipped 3 tails, so the loop we ran was only a mile and a half away, which some people doubled.
It was a dissappointment, but a nice 7. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 7.00 |
|
| | JCC/ DrycreakTrail. It was good run, I felt great going up and down, particularly down though. Then we did crunches and push ups. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 6.00 |
|
| |
We were at cottonwood complex. 3 mile warmup 5 strides, 5 hills, 3 mile cool down
That was a ton of warm up and cool down.
It was nice, my hills (which were about 500 meters) were 1:43, 1:40, 1:40, 1:41, 1:43 |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 8.00 |
|
| |
Liberty Park stuff. 1.5 mile warmup 1/2 mile fast, half mile recovery, mile fast, 1.5 cool down.
Now those arent the exact numbers but its close.
My 800 was probably 2:42
my 1 mile was about 5:37

This was a weird hybrid of an excellent and terrible race. It was a great course, even if it was just a mile and a half out, and then a turn around. But there wasnt any competition for me after the first mile, so It kind of became a nice 5k run, not a 5k race. My legs are still a little dead from speed and hills, but I won.
Its nice to get first, I might try and do this more often. | |
| |
2 mile warm up! then ...
Hill Work out at Shugah hood, It was relatively easy.
then we did 2 circuts (from H E Double Hockey Sticks)
then we did a 2 mile cool down.
It hurt, my legs felt dead ... But I feel fine now |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 7.00 |

It was the Pipeline trail. I felt like I had something to prove, as in the beginning Bill said, "you can turn around when one of the fast people passes you, like Ben or RJ."
So I finished before RJ. It felt great, the water was cold! |

and I ran an extra mile later that day just to hit 40. |

Bill decided that I should stay with Emily for the majority of the run, which was a pain in the neck. But I did it, and I am kinda glad I did. |

Today was the JCC trail, to the 4 mile turn-around rather than the 3. I despise this run, especially that last mile to the turn around. Its practically all up hill, untill you turn around, and then you realize how much of it was actually down hill, cause now your running up again.
It was okay-ish. My left leg hit something up a hill, and it was painful, but I ran through it and it went away. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 8.00 |
|
| | It was Fairmont today, a nice 2 mile warmup, some step ups, and then 4 1/2 miles of speed, and a mile and a half of Cooldown. In the middle my left calf had a sharp pain, but it faded after a couple steps. It was an odd method of workout though, I kinda liked just running it, and not knowing how many I was expected to do. |
Nike Lunar Somethings Miles: 8.00 |

Sugarhouse Park, we did 5 hills, that were approximately a quarter mile (recovery was running the hill back to the start and another 20 seconds rest for me, because I was in the last of the 3 staggered groups).
so it was 5 miles warm up, 2 1/2 hills, and then 4 1/2 cooldown.
I cant wait for the day my legs wont hurt anymore. It will be a fantastic day.
DAH DUN DAAAAAH! Its what you've all been waiting for, the PM workout!

A little sidenote, a couple days ago I was running on my own, and this girl walked up to me and said "Do you jog everywhere?" In passing all I could say was, "kinda." But I thought about it, and that question is a little deserving of Kinda...
I mean, no I don't jog EVERYWHERE, nor do I jog that much, but I've ran practically everywhere I know ... So yeah, I kinda do run everywhere, just incase you are reading this little girl. |

then we ran the race, which nobody wanted to race fast because of Murray, so hence the slow times. And during the race I felt great, and i actually got a chance to run with Ben, Parker Evans, and the 800 miles in the summer stansbury kid, Tyson. I wish I was fast enough to actually race against them though.

Division place is place on the team.
we ran the changed course as warmup as a team, then RJ and I ran 2 more miles to keep warmed up.
The race was the scarriest race I have ever ran in my life. FIRST OFF we had a false start, someone fell down, common for a big race, by big I mean 338 people in the race big...
And right before someone else felldown in teh race, I had to grab a guy and pick him up to keep him from falling.
When we actually started I was boxed in WAAAY too slow for the first half mile (my first mile time was 6:10ish) and then I finally got free and got my speed up and I had to catch the Tooele Number 1 guy, so I did. And Then I raced against the AWESOMEST short kid ever, he was a freshman and he raced hard he finished right behind me. GO MOUNTAIN CREST SHORT KID. Anyways everything rocked after I actually got out there and raced.
then we did a mile cooldown, and missed Susannahs award. |
